Intitulé 'Deathibel', il a été enregistré dans le cadre des Decibel Flexi Series réalisées par Decibel Magazine.

'Deathibel', qui accompagne le numéro du mois de juin, devient par ailleurs l'hymne du magazine.

Le morceau rend également hommage (musicalement et textuellement) à une icône du rock disparue fin 2015.

Les MELVINS ne s'arrêtent jamais de composer et annoncent encore un nouvel album.

Intitulé "Basses Loaded", il paraîtra le 3 juin chez Ipecac Recordings.

Pas moins de six bassistes différents apparaissent sur ce disque, dont plusieurs jouent ou ont joué au sein du groupe : Krist Novoselic (ex-Nirvana), Steve McDonald (Redd Kross), J.D. Pinkus (ex-Butthole Surfers), Trevor Dunn (ex-Mr. Bungle, Fantômas), Jared Warren (Big Business) et le batteur habituel des Melvins, Dale Crover, qui retrouve ici, le temps de quatre titres, un poste qu'il a déjà occupé en 1983.
