Quelques news du HELLFEST où le soleil et une bonne orga sont au rendez-vous ! Pas de mauvaises surprises pour vendredi en dehors du désistement de MADBALL qui jouera finalement ce samedi et qui a été remplacé par BLEEDING THROUGH.
Quelques news en direct du Fest de Papy Cril :
DEATH ANGEL : les Thrasheurs chicanos ont l’air de bien s’éclater sur scène, les titres passent bien, bon thrash à l’ancienne qui claque très bien (je ne donnerai pas les titres je ne les connais pas…)
DANKO JONES : bon show heavy rock’n’roll, le vocaliste communique bien avec le public, assez marrant, il réclame la pluie qui fort heureusement ne viendra pas, il fait une spéciale dédicace aux morts en vrac : Bon Scott, les Ramones, Cliff Burton au parrain du black metal James Brown. Un concert rock’n’roll est fun !
PARADISE LOST : je ne suis pas trop fan du groupe (j’aime juste « Draconian times »), c’est sympa mais relativement mou, le public toutefois réagit assez bien : quelques titres en vrac : « As I die », « Pity the sadness », « Celebration », « One second », « Say Just Word » et des titres du dernier album. Comme c’est l’anniv’ de Greg Mackintosh, Nick fait chanter Happy Birthday au public.
J’ai attendu le démarrage du show de MAYHEM pour voir le déguisement d’Attila, raté mise à part une croix géante autour du cou faite d'os, pas de lapin, ni de sapin, ou de chasseur et encore moins de facteur.
J’ai suivi le concert de DIMMU BORGIR en bête curieuse, j’ai trouvé ça pas mal, assez mélodique en fait, le côté black metal venant plus des corpse paints, du chant et de quelques blasts. Par contre j’ai trouvé un peu ridicule d’annoncer les titres et de communiquer avec le public avec une grosse voix evil. DIMMU a été le premier groupe à faire des rappels.
Dernier show du jour me concernant et quel show TESTAMENT, j’ai eu très peur au début car le son du premier morceau a été vraiment horrible, avec la basse qui couvre ABSOLUMENT tout ! Puis ça c’est bien arrangé, Chuck est en grande forme et il a le sourire et s’éclate, sa santé semble entièrement de retour. Quelques titres au vol : « Into the Pit », « Apocaliptic city », « Alone in the dark » , “ More than meets the eye”; Show et groupe très pêchu, le membres s’éclatent et ont la banane, grosse réaction du public.
