"There have been many rumours saying that our front-man, founder Kvarforth is dead, we wish these speculations to be put to an end by telling you what we know:
A couple of days ago, we received a letter from a person very close to Kvarforth telling us that Kvaforth had decided to leave this world behind and also introducing as a kind off last will, a new singer to replace him for future events of Shining.
All that we know for 200% is that Kvarforth has been missing for the past 4 weeks and have, as his friend indicates, chosen to end his own life and for us, the band, this come as no surprise as he have been suffering from extreme anxiety and depressions the past 6 months and some truly extreme things, considering his own personal life, occurred dramatically right before he disappeared. However, we wish to send our deepest regrets to our friend and sadistical leader Kvarforth wherever he might be!

C'est avec une profonde tristesse que nous vous avons appris le décès du guitariste Jesse Pintado (TERRORIZER, ex-NAPALM DEATH) qui serait mort au cours du dernier week end dans un hopital en Hollande. Le label de TERRORIZER Century Media a confirmé son décès.
Jesse Pintado était un des membres fondateurs de TERRORIZER avec Pete Sandoval de MORBID ANGEL avec qui il enregistra l'album culte "World Downfall" dont il était le compositeur principal.
Jesse fut le successeur de Bill Steer au sein de NAPALM DEATH, il participa à l'ecriture et l'enregistrement de tous les albums du groupe de 1990 à 2002 dont les classqiues "Harmony Corrpution", "Diatribes" ou "Enemy of the Music Business". Jesse quitta NAPALM DEATH suite à divers problèmes d'addiction ...
C'est une légende qui nous quitte ... que ce mois d'août 2006 est dur ...

Le bassiste de BESTIAL MOCKERY est décédé durant le mois d'août. Suite à une bagare avec le guitariste du groupe et en raison d'un taux élevé d'alcoolémie, Devilpigs a plongé dans le coma et 2 jours plus tard les médecins ont diagnostiqué sa mort. Le groupe a pour sa part splitté... Espérons que l'hécatombe de cette fin d'été 2006 s'arrête rapidement.

No one of us, the band members have meet him yet but a contact have been established via letter-exchange, and as this was Kvarforth’s own will, we are now officially presenting our newest member, whoever this might be, Ghoul.
It shall also be said that both me and the guys in the band have heard Kvarforths wish that Shining should get a new singer if he died or disappeared but we never thought that it would come to this point! (VsGreg)

ILL NINO se prépare à sortir un EP nommé "The Undercover Sessions" le 24 octobre prochain. Il comportera des reprises de Faith No More "Zombie Eaters", Nirvana "Territorial Pissings" et Peter Gabriel "Red Rain" ainsi que 2 nouveaux morceaux. Il sera difficile de trouver cet EP en Europe vu que le groupe vient de se faire virer par Roadrunner ! (VsGreg)

Conny le porte parole de SHINING vient de s'exprimer sur la situation du groupe, confirmant le suicide du chanteur Kvaforth et l'arrivée d'un nouveau vocaliste dans le groupe Ghoul, ce dernier ayant été choisi par Kvaforth lui même sans que le reste du groupe ne le connaisse. Voila le communiqué officiel
"There have been many rumours saying that our front-man, founder Kvarforth is dead, we wish these speculations to be put to an end by telling you what we know:
A couple of days ago, we received a letter from a person very close to Kvarforth telling us that Kvaforth had decided to leave this world behind and also introducing as a kind off last will, a new singer to replace him for future events of Shining.
All that we know for 200% is that Kvarforth has been missing for the past 4 weeks and have, as his friend indicates, chosen to end his own life and for us, the band, this come as no surprise as he have been suffering from extreme anxiety and depressions the past 6 months and some truly extreme things, considering his own personal life, occurred dramatically right before he disappeared.
