(ZeSnake)

It never fucken changes... You can't fix stupid.

2 years of pretty much daily work is invested in this album. Everyone worked their asses off to make it perfect, me more than anyone. 3 different versions digitally available at our site; a High Quality MP3 version, a HD FLAC version for the audiophiles and a High Quality MP3 instrumental version as a nice bonus. Complete with a PDF booklet for your printing pleasures and whatnot... All this for 150 SEK/17 Euros or 21 US dollars.

It was possible to fund this recording and make it as magnificent as it is thanx to the loyal Haters who donated to the cause of bringing it to life in these digital forms. No one else but these people who donated or later purchased it after it was completed got this piece of TPH history sent to them. No magazines, no Internet websites, no radio stations.. no media whatsoever.

One would think that if you actually pay for something you would want other people to do the same instead of stabbing all these Haters and TPH in our backs by illegally uploading what you bought to the Internet, for everyone to steal as they see fit.

One would think anyways...

99% of you guys who made this beast come alive - "There Is No Earth I Will Leave Unscorched" was meant for you and no one else. Keep that in mind at all times. Then we have this 1% of absolute scum who think it's within their rights to illegally upload this album to the Internet after they bought it. I hope you're real fucken proud of yourselves for doing this. I hope you understand that you're killing the bands you think you're supporting. I sincerely hope you suffer becoz of it. Preferably today, but tomorrow is fine too. Go fuck yourself, traitor.

Something that truly is putting a smile on my face is that I get a few mails saying "I read that your new album has been leaked, but I will do what's right and buy it from you. Money has been transferred". It impresses me that there are people like that around, and I truly thank them for doing what's right.

The little money I do make off of sales after the budget for the recording and paying everyone involved was met is money that I also put back into the music by buying new software and everything else that comes with creating what I am creating with TPH and anything else I compose for. To see torrent sites where there are hundreds of seeders/leechers for this new album is not exactly motivating. Those are all people who obviously want what we are doing, but there's no way in fucken hell that they will pay for it coz, you know... "sharing is caring".

Isn't it absolutely amazing? This is the ugly side of the Internet. The side that will slowly kill off band by band, which is extremely sad.

There will always be these idiots claiming "if you wanna make money you should go on tour!". When the fuck did it become a bad thing for someone who records and releases music to actually expect people to BUY it if they want it? It's not about making thousands and thousands of dollars, I'm not delusional - I DO know what we're doing is hardly ever making me wealthy (and that's not the point), it's about RESPECTING THE ARTIST who's put in more hours to his/her work than you'll ever understand. And all you'd need to do to make it right is to pay 150 SEK/17 Euros or 21 US dollars and keep the album to yourself. That's like 4 beers at your local bar... For 2 years of insane work.

I don't even know why I, once again, type all this for... I did it with our last album after it leaked without it changing anything. This will not change anything either when it comes to these disrespectful cunts uploading one's music illegally, but I just had to get it off my chest. Maybe it makes at least one of these imbeciles think twice when it comes to any other artist they are about to stab in the back. The damage for us is already done. If you're one of these people who have illegally downloaded our latest offering, feel free to redeem yourself and order the whole thing thru www.theprojecthate.net.

And this bears repeating: if you're one of these awesome keyboard ninjas who feel like coming here to share your incredibly intelligent comments on how terrible the music of TPH is and how everyone's effort, past or present, absolutely sucks, the price is too high, you have no money bla bla bla - not only are you full of shit, but rest assured you will be blocked and your comments will be deleted, without discussion. My patience ran out long ago when it comes to this particular generation of Internet users. I won't even read more than a few words of your useless post before you're banned and the comment is deleted, so don't waste your time. If you have nothing of value to say, or can't speak with common decency - then say nothing at all. Understand.

That's all. I have nothing more to say on the matter except "thanx" to you guys who are doing the right thing. It's invaluable to me and to The Hate.

Follow up post as of January 3rd: Wow... that's pretty much all I can say right now. Wow. The past few hours my inbox has been literally flooded (I counted to 52 mails and then I gave up) with emails from Haters I have talked to before, people I have never talked to before and finally musicians and colleagues from all over the globe - both from bands I am well familiar with as well as new ones I have never previously heard of, until now. They all have one thing in common - they show their support in this illegal downloading matter that I brought up a few hours ago as the new TPH album was leaked.

People are pissed at the treason "fans" commit by doing things like this. "What's in it for them? What do they gain by doing this?" is something I have read more than a couple of times in these mails. It sure is nice to see a bunch of reasonable people express their valuable opinions, and I raise my glass to each and every one of you. Of course it's not changing anything, Judas will unfortunately always be out there. But it's great to see some rational thinking and genuine support from people all over the place.

As shocking as it may sound, I haven't gotten one single hate mail yet. Sure, there's been a couple of highly, highly intelligent comments here at Facebook, but those are deleted and the Einsteins in charge of them are blocked before I even get to the halfway mark of their posts, so thanx for wasting your time. Funny how it ALWAYS are the very vermin who'd never pay for music/movies/games, and who also think your band sucks, who spew forth absolute irrelevance on various band's FB pages, haha... Perhaps you should try to interact with bands you actually, you know... LIKE? I'm sure that'll be more rewarding for ya.

Anyways, huge thanx again to all of you who have emailed me. There is obviously some honesty and brotherhood in this scene still. It's just much harder to come across it these days.

Have a great weekend and spin your legally purchased copy of the masterpiece entitled THERE IS NO EARTH I WILL LEAVE UNSCORCHED until the walls come down. I salute you guys who are true supporters of music. You know who you are. Never change, ladies and gents.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Troll reminder/guidelines:

Every now and then a couple of highly, highly intelligent comments appear here at our Facebook page. It's always hysterically amusing and today's technology sure invites the best of them to fire up their... eh... well thought-out tirades. Try to understand that if you're one of these beautiful trolls - you will be banned and your comments will be deleted before I have even read the complete first sentence of your Internet diarrhea. It takes very little effort to do so and my tolerance with this generation of Internet users is, you guessed it, ZERO. As mentioned, today's technology is amaaaaaaaaaazing!

If any of these points below apply to you, my advice is you stay away from posting here, coz you're just wasting your time and you will be, as mentioned, banned and your valuable input will be deleted as soon as it's spotted. You ready, buddy? Here goes:

- You think TPH's music is terrible. (And STILL you can't resist the urge to be around these parts? That seems kinda... retarded. You should start visiting sites and Facebook pages of bands you actually LIKE. That will be a new and more rewarding experience for ya. Guaranteed)

- You think everyone's efforts on the album(s), past and present, sucks. (I'm sure YOUR band is astonishing and could cook up A LOT better music. Oh, you have no band? Then just use the "your band suck" part. That works wonders)

- Illegal downloading is GOOD for everyone! (Also, you have "sharing is caring" tattooed on your back)

- You think we and every other band should tour instead of raising the problems with Internet thievery and lash out at the illegally downloading scum. Coz you have decided that music should be free of charge. (But... shouldn't concerts be free of charge too then? Oh, the dilemma)

- You think 150 SEK, 17 Euros or 21 US dollars is WAAAAAY to much to pay for almost 4 hours of music in 3 different formats when it comes to our latest album. (Perhaps you should.. you know... get a job? Then again, perhaps you should work for free if we're going by your way of thinking, so this is a dilemma too...)

- You have no money so you can't buy music, which makes you think it's OK to steal music and upload it to anywhere you see fit. After all - that's SUPPORT! You will tell us that we'll get a lot of fans by the "sharing is caring" mentality. True FANS who will also NOT pay for our music. (Win/win situation for everyone! Good thing you can afford the Internet connection at least or you'd be mightily fucked)

- You're so angry about musicians having problems with YOU downloading their material illegally you can't even spell your fantastic comments correctly. (Pointer: breathe, type one letter at the time, proof read before posting. At least twice. It will make you look less mentally challenged. Not that it matters though, your comments will still be deleted and you will be blocked from this page. But at least you can go to sleep knowing you had a CORRECTLY SPELLED comment deleted)

- You're a clownshoe. (I really have nothing more to say about this part. It speaks for itself)

- You have any other comment that I simply disagree with becoz it's horseshit. (You can't possibly know this beforehand, but if you read the pointers above you'll see what kind of stuff will get your comments deleted and yourself blocked. It's kinda trial and error for you. Good luck. Have in mind it's one strike and then you're out. Not three. This is not baseball.)

Last off: If you have nothing of value to say, or can't speak with common decency - then say nothing at all. Understand.

That was all. Now get our new album by ordering it through www.theprojecthate.net. It is the best damn thing you will ever hear, you lucky bastard.

Soit on s'adapte, soit on crève... attention, Lord K...

Feel free to spread the message.

As mentioned earlier, as soon as some asshole decided that it was about time to put our album on the 'net for every other asshole to illegally download - the orders for "There is no Earth I will leave unscorched" came to a definite stop. One week after its release. One. Week.

Not only does this apply to OUR latest album, but I suspect it applies to ANY band's album that's being released in these times of Internet thievery and illegal downloading.

Support the bands whose work you're stealing.
Support the eventual labels who release it.
Support music by purchasing what you're listening to.

As long as the Internet's around and the punishment for being a thief here are non-existent, nothing will change. But maybe, just maybe, if enough artists speak up it will make one or two of these disgusting little rats change their mind the next time they're about to steal something. It's better than nothing. We'll just continue hoping for a swift death of the remaining ones.

Do what's right. Pay for the art you're consuming and show some goddamn respect.

Or, you know... the time when your fave bands and artists stop creating might come sooner than you think.

Is it worth it?

And if you're a thieving troll about to go all-out ninja on your keyboard now - don't even bother. You're wasting your time and will be blocked as well as having your badly spelled comment of irrelevance deleted as soon as its spotted. Go do something else.

Accompagné d'une image qui dit :

You claim to be a fan of music?
SHOW IT!

Refuse to illegaly download the perfection we have crafted with this album and do what's right - BUY this masterpiece and show us real support for genuine artistry.
