En attendant son troisième album, le groupe ALTAR OF OBLIVION (Epic Doom metal - Danemark) sortira un EP intitulé "Barren Grounds" le 30 août chez Shadow Kingdom Records au format digital.

Une version LP verra le jour plus tard via Journey’s End Records.

Ce groupe s'est pour rappel formé autour du duo Allan B. Larsen (Altar of Oblivion, Church Bizarre) à la guitare et Jens B. Pedersen (Church Bizarre, Cerekloth) aux vocaux, et comprend également le français Quentin Nicollet (ex-Horned Almighty, session live pour Glorior Belli) à la basse, Andreas Joen (actuel batteur live de Glorior Belli) à la batterie, Måns Andersen (Cerekloth) à la 2ème guitare et Kenneth Holme (The Vein) aux claviers.
