Teenage Time Killers est avant tout le projet de 3 hommes :

Reed Mullin (Corrosion Of Conformity) à la batterie et aux vocaux, Mick Murphy (My Ruin, The Birds Of Satan, Chevy Metal, Neanderthal) à la guitare et basse, ainsi que John "Lou" Lousteau, responsable de la production, de l'enregistrement et du mixage de l'album.

Par ailleurs, l'album a été masterisé par Bill Stevenson (The Descendents, Black Flag). Les instruments ont eux été enregistré au 606 Studio de Dave Grohl à Northridge en Californie, en utilisant la fameuse table de mixage Sound City.

Le nom du groupe vient d'un titre de morceau de Rudimentary Peni (groupe anglais de anarcho-punk/deathrock). Enfin, "Rise" doit contenir un poème composé par John Cleese (co-fondateur de la troupe d'humoristes les Monty Python), intitulé 'Ode to Hannity' et chanté par Jello Biafra (Dead Kennedys).
