I simply can no longer devote the time and effort required to maintain my position within the group. I have so many projects going on now in Texas, including a new RIGOR MORTIS record in the works, that it just wouldn't be fair to everyone involved for me to stay and not be able to give 100%. I appreciate their understanding, and certainly hope the fans will understand as well. I truly appreciate the opportunity I was given to return to the band and record the last two albums and to tour with them over the last several years, but it's time to aim my creative energies in other directions and embrace the opportunities that have been laid before me. I promise you have not heard the last of me. Not by a long shot!"
