En tout cas, c'est bien parti : Cedric Bixler-Zavala ne fait désormais plus partie de THE MARS VOLTA...

Cedric avait déjà menacé de quitter le groupe en 2006 parce qu'Omar ne voulait pas de Thomas Pridgen à la batterie, puis fin 2010-début 2011 quand Omar le pressait d'enregistrer et d'écrire les paroles pour "Noctourniquet" (enregistré depuis cette période là). Omar a toujours considéré TMV come "son" groupe, fondé après avoir été lassé de faire des concessions dans At The Drive-In.

Bref, les deux ne se comprennent plus, Omar est en quête permanente de nouveaux horizons musicaux et Cedric (en bon frontman et c'est ce que j'aime chez lui) ne pense à son public et à livre des prestations digne de l'estime qu'il leur porte.

Bref, wait and see...Mais ça m'étonnerait que ça s'arrête comme ça.

En autant que Cedric et Omar continuent de faire de la musique, ça serais pas mal.

Mouais, ça sent vraiment la fin de The Mars Volta et ça fait grave chier. Autant garder le groupe (même en hiatus pour se repencher dessus plus tard) et reformer At The Drive-In :D
