BARREN EARTH a annoncé le départ de son chanteur, Mikko Kotamäki, présent dans le groupe depuis ses débuts en 2007.

Suite à des conflits d'emploi du temps, notamment, Mikko a décidé de quitter le groupe, et d'après le communiqué de celui-ci (visible dans le détail de la news), il n' y a aucun conflit entre les 2 parties.

Mikko, âgé de 28 ans, reste le chanteur de Swallow the Sun, Kuolemanlaakso et membre de Verivala.

Dear friends. We regret to announce the departure of Mikko Kotamäki from Barren Earth. Due to conflicting schedules, Mikko cannot contribute to Barren Earth's activities any longer. The decision was made by mutual agreement with absolutely no drama involved. We will keep working on new material, and will launch search for a new vocalist shortly.
