ASTRAL DOORS vient de sortir son 7ème album studio "Notes From The Shadows", via Metalville. C'est Jonas Kjellgren (ex-vocaliste de Carnal Forge, ancien guitariste de Centinex et Scar Symmetry) qui a mixé et masterisé cet album.

Voici son contenu : 1. The Last Temptation of Christ - 2. Disciples of the Dragon Lord - 3. Wailing Wall - 4. Shadowchaser - 5. Die Alone - 6. Hoodoo Ceremony - 7. Southern Conjuration - 8. Walker the Stalker - 9. Desert Nights - 10. In the Name of Rock - 11. Confessions

Pour rappel, le groupe est emmené par le chanteur Nils Patrik Johansson (Civil War, Lion's Share, Wuthering Heights).

Par ailleurs, Astral Doors a annoncé que leur batteur Johan Lindstedt s'était blessé à son travail, ce qui a a affecté 2 de ses doigts, dont un a du être amputé. Johan devra donc patienter plusieurs mois avant de retrouver son poste. Lors des prochains concerts, il sera remplacé par Robban Bäck (Twilight Force, ex-Sabaton, ex-Jeff Scott Soto).
