YES regret to inform our fans that due to the Coronavirus Pandemic and our concerns about the safety of our fans, the forthcoming European and UK Relayer Album Tour Dates have been postponed to 2021.
We will let you know the re-scheduled dates as soon as they are confirmed – all tickets will be valid for the new shows. More details to follow.

We’re really looking forward finally to performing Relayer and other YES classics for our fans in 2021. As promised, we can now announce all of the re-scheduled mainland European dates for The Album Series 2021 Tour. News of the re-scheduled UK and Eire dates will come imminently.

Yes a écrit :It is with great disappointment YES announce that the logistical problems of arranging European tour dates for 2022, caused by the on-going pandemic, have proved insurmountable. YES have taken the decision, for the safety of band members, crew and audiences, to reschedule all mainland European dates to 2023. This has allowed us to add back in the Rockhal in Luxembourg, which we were unable to accommodate in the 2022 tour.
Tickets for all rescheduled shows remain valid for the new dates.
Geoff Downes: “We’re really looking forward to getting back onstage and performing for our fans. Relayer will be special.”
The tour line-up features Steve Howe (guitars), Geoff Downes (keyboards), Jon Davison (vocals), Billy Sherwood (bass guitar and backing vocals) and Jay Schellen (drums and percussion).
As previously announced, the show will comprise full production and a high-definition video wall. The show will include favourite classic tracks from YES’ extensive catalogue together with Relayer, the seventh studio album by YES and one of the band’s most distinctive, in full. Relayer marked a slight change in direction as Patrick Moraz replaced Rick Wakeman on keyboards bringing an edgier, avant-garde feel to the album. This was perfect for the opening track Gates Of Delirium, almost 22 minutes in length, with its battle scene featuring the keyboard of Moraz and Steve.
Roger Dean will be directing the production and joining the tour with an exhibition of YES related art.
YUCK a écrit :It is with enormous regret that, due to unforeseen circumstances beyond the band’s control, YES have taken the decision to postpone their 2023 Relayer European and UK tour.YES and their management have explored every possible avenue to arrange insurance cover for the tour in the event of COVID-related exemption or Act of War exclusion.
The insurance industry has withdrawn all such insurances which made touring possible pre-COVID and before the Ukraine conflict.There have always been calculated risk assessments to consider when touring and YES has unfailingly paid a premium to cover against terrorism in addition to conventional cancellation risks.
With a view to supporting venues and crew, YES toured the UK in 2022 but the band simply cannot undertake such a large-scale tour with so many risks being uninsured. Insurance cover was promised for events in 2023 but this has now been withdrawn until 2024, with confirmations of normality in ’24 following representations to the insurance industry to reassess its attitudes to COVID and Act of War insurance.
Bands at some levels can mitigate against these risks but YES’ touring model creates unjustifiable levels of risk
YES’ 2023 Eventim Apollo (London) show is not happening and tickets are now being re-funded. The remainder of the tour dates are being rescheduled to 2024 with new dates to be announced shortly – all tickets will remain valid.
YES wish to express their sincere regrets to their faithful fans and ask for their understanding. The band has now received the necessary assurances for 2024 and are committed to returning to the stage then.
